A provider of state-of-the-art home respiratory
equipment and inhalation medications for patients
requiring oxygen, sleep therapeutics, nebulizers,
and ventilator management. The company was
founded in July 2001 in Rhode Island, and
opened additional branch locations in Boston,
MA; Georgetown, MA; Fall River, MA; and Portland,
Maine.
Respiratory Solutions was a participating
provider with several managed care plans throughout
the northeast, as well as Medicare and Medicaid
( RI, MA, ME).
Respiratory Solutions, accredited by the
Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare
Organizations (JCAHO), was acquired by Lincare,
Inc., in December 2004.

EvoCare, founded in September 1994, provided
infusion therapy medications and services
for patients at home, in a physician infusion
suite, or a sub-acute care facility. These
medically complex patients may have required
intravenous antibiotics, chemotherapy, blood
products, pain management, hydration and/or
total parenteral nutrition. The EvoCare clinical
team included infusion nurses, pharmacists,
and clinical dieticians to collaborate with
physicians in providing high quality, cost
effective patient care. EvoCare, accredited
by the Joint Commission of Accreditaion of
Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), operated
licensed pharmacies in East Providence, RI,
and Chelmsford, MA.
EvoCare Home Health Services was a Medicare
certified home health agency in the state
of Rhode Island, and provided home care services
including nursing; physical and occupational
therapy; and speech therapy.
EvoCare and EvoCare Home Health Services
were acquired by American Home Patient in
February 1998.

ClinCare, Norwood, MA, was a site management
organization that conducted phase III &
phase IV clinical drug trials for pharmaceutical
and biotechnology companies. ClinCare developed
partnerships with physician practices and
health systems throughout the northeast, and
managed the research sites; recruited clinical
drug trials; complied with the regulatory
process; recruited and trained research coordinators;
enrolled patients; and collected the data
for submission to the pharmaceutical/biotech
company.
Clinical Partners LLC, Johnston, RI, was
one of the clinical trial sites working with
principal investigators to recruit and manage
clinical drug trials, with its primary focus
being dermatology trials.
